Please note that we do not provide telephone support, nor do we accept orders over the phone. ShippingWe generally ship all orders within 1 business day. All shipping is FOB shipping point (Grand Rapids, Michigan). For international shipments (outside the USA), the buyer is responsible for paying all customs, duties, taxes, tariffs, and other fees necessary to take possession of the shipment. Please do not ask us to prepare false customs forms or mark shipments as gifts -- we will not do so under any circumstances. We offer the following UPS and USPS shipping options. UPS -- DomesticUPS provides excellent tracking and status information. With UPS you also have guaranteed expedited options: second-day and next-day delivery. We understand that if you select one of these options then time is of the essence and we will give your order shipping priority. We do not ship UPS internationally unless you have a customs broker that can handle the import and brokerage fees. Contact us at <sales@ruggedcircuits.com> to arrange for this form of shipping (also for other carriers, including FedEx and DHL). USPS Priority Mail -- DomesticPriority mail provides a good tradeoff between speed of delivery and tracking information within the USA. Shipments generally arrive within 1-3 days within the continental USA. Tracking information is provided right up to the point of delivery. USPS Express Mail -- InternationalFor international shipping, this is a good trade-off between the speed and trackability of UPS packages and the lower cost of USPS mail. Express Mail International provides tracking information right up to the point of delivery and quotes 3-5 day delivery times to the destination country. Note, however, that once the package arrives in the destination country it must still clear customs and be processed by your local postal delivery service, and there’s nothing we can do about that! However, Express Mail International has expedited brokerage thus should clear customs faster than other USPS shipping options. USPS Priority Mail -- InternationalThis is our most common shipping method for international shipments. Transit time is 6-10 business days (so really about 2 weeks of “real time”) to the destination country. Note, however, that once the package arrives in the destination country it must still clear customs and be processed by your local postal delivery service, and there’s nothing we can do about that! Tracking information is only available while the package is in the USA. You won’t see any more updates after this point. Sometimes, the USPS won’t even provide tracking information within the USA and you will only see the cryptic message “Electronic shipping information received” indicating we printed a postage label, then nothing until your package happily arrives at your door several days later. Because of this, this shipping method is “at your own risk”. If the package does not arrive, there’s not much we can do beyond file a claim with the USPS and hope for the best. USPS First-Class Mail -- DomesticThis is the least-expensive shipping option and is generally the best option if you are not in a hurry. While there are no service guarantees we find that packages arrive within 2-5 days. Tracking information is provided right up to the point of delivery. Most of our domestic orders ship by First-Class Mail and it works just fine 99.9% of the time. USPS First-Class Mail -- InternationalThis is the least-expensive international shipping option but can also be the slowest. As with USPS Priority Mail International, there is no tracking information provided once the package leaves the USA, and sometimes not even before that. Also note that once the package arrives in the destination country it must still clear customs and be processed by your local postal delivery service, and there’s nothing we can do about that! Tracking information is only available while the package is in the USA. You won’t see any more updates after this point. From our point of view, this shipping method requires the most amount of manual labor (filling out customs forms and a physical trip to the post office since we can’t purchase this type of postage on-line) thus has the highest handling fee. Please keep this in mind when you note the large difference (OK...just a few dollars) between what we charge you for USPS First-Class Mail International shipping and what the actual cost of shipping is. Warranty and ReturnsOur products are warranted to be free of defects in manufacturing and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. Rugged Circuits LLC will, at its option, repair or replace the defective product. After 90 days, products can be shipped back to Rugged Circuits LLC for repair or replacement but will be subject to inspection, labor, and repair fees, as well as return shipping and handling charges. A repair or replacement quotation will be provided to the customer prior to the start of any such work. Customers must contact <sales@ruggedcircuits.com> to obtain an RMA number prior to returning products. This RMA number must be clearly marked on return shipping containers. Customers are responsible for properly packaging and protecting products for shipping. The warranty is voided if the product has been damaged through neglect or misuse. Rugged Circuits LLC makes no other warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness of our products for any particular purpose, even if that purpose is known to Rugged Circuits LLC, or any warranty relating to intellectual property. Rugged Circuits LLC shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or loss of profits resulting from the handling or use of our products. Any Rugged Circuits LLC product may be returned for any reason within 14 days from date of purchase for a full refund (less shipping and handling costs) provided that it is returned without defects, properly packed and shipped, in saleable condition, and with all accessories and parts included. Refunds will be made in the form of PayPal payments to the customer’s PayPal account, if one is available, else as a store credit. On-Line Store Terms of UseAll orders shipped to destinations in Michigan are subject to 6% Michigan State Sales Tax. Please note that Michigan law requires that we compute this sales tax on the total order cost, including any shipping and handling charges. Residents of other states are required to report and submit Use Tax to their respective states. Michigan tax-exempt institutions must submit a certificate of exemption prior to ordering else the order will be subject to sales tax. International customers are responsible for paying any import duties, customs, tarrifs, taxes, or fees on their orders. Customers under the age of 18 may only purchase products under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We accept payment through PayPal or Amazon Checkout. Credit cards can be used with either one of these payment processors. Orders paid with credit cards or PayPal are usually shipped next business day. We also accept checks and money orders, however we may require up to 10 business days after receipt of payment before shipping your products in order to verify your payment. We do not accept purchase orders, e-mail orders, or phone-in orders. Rugged Circuits LLC reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content posted to our web site, or cancel orders at our sole discretion. We believe that our product descriptions and listings on our web site and in our on-line catalog are accurate, but we do not warrant the accuracy of this information. If you purchase a product from Rugged Circuits LLC and believe it is materially different from its description on our web site or in our store catalog, you may return it to us in saleable condition within 14 days for a full refund, less any shipping and handling charges already paid.
